11093A Auburn Tool Co. Groove Moulding Plane
Wooden groove moulding plane with metal sole and handle measures approx. 11 1/2" long. Tool markings are Auburn Tool Co. Auburn N.Y., one curved line and one staight line making a half circle with a star design in the center of mark. Research shows that Auburn Tool Co. used this marking in 1864-1893. Blade measures approx. 3/16" wide. Blade has some rust and some pitting. Tool has some rust and some pitting. Top of handle is chipped. Good working condition.
